Draw one straight line that cuts a map into two halves of equal population
Every map is loaded with a real population grid — roughly 2,000 cells covering everyone who lives in the region. You never see it while you play.
Drag across the map to lay down a straight line. It runs edge to edge and splits the region in two. Your job is to place it so that the same number of people live on each side. Nudge the endpoints to swing the angle, or drag the middle to slide it across. Arrow keys nudge it a pixel at a time; hold Shift to move faster.
On Fixed Angle the line arrives already drawn, tilted at an angle picked for that map, and locked there. You can only slide it back and forth — no hunting for a kind angle through an empty desert.
Submit and the grid lights up: every cell appears, coloured by the side it fell on, with the perfect cut at your chosen angle shown as a dashed line. The closer your split to 50/50, the higher the score.
